Presented during Mental Health Week as part of a webinar hosted by the Australian Logistics Council, which aimed to increase awareness of mental health in the transport and logistics sector. The session focused on the role of mindfulness in improving and sustaining workplace well-being. Other speakers included representatives from Healthy Heads in Trucks and Sheds, NT Road Transport Association, and Beyond Blue. This presentation highlighted the broader occupational health benefits of mindfulness in high-risk, high-demand industries such as logistics. It helped frame mindfulness as a practical, accessible tool for improving mental well-being and reducing psychological distress in frontline transport workforces. (~75 attendees)
