Description

This project will engage with Indigenous elders and community from Milikapiti in the Tiwi Islands, to create an immersive experience, where people can experience Milikapiti, Tiwi culture and Country. This work aims to showcase the beauty, sounds, sights, scents and knowledges of Tiwi to the wider public, while ensuring no harm to Country or community. This will allow people to experience Tiwi, without physically being there. This project aims to use film, as well as heat, humidity, scent and sound to create a fully immersive experience.
