Description

To celebrate the opening of Monash University Library's 'The Perfect Migrant' exhibition, an expert panel explores their own experiences as children and stepchildren of Dunera internees and the impact it had on them. They also reflect on current issues around refugees and forced migrants.

The panellists:

- Karin Altmann, award winning screenwriter, documentary director and script consultant.
- Jennifer Nadel, barrister, award winning journalist and writer, and Co-founder of Compassion in Politics think tank.
- Professor Justin Zobel, the Pro-Vice Chancellor (Graduate & International Research), Melbourne University.

Facilitated by Professor Christina Twomey, Head of the School of Philosophical, Historical and International Studies in the Faculty of Arts, Monash University.
