The CreativeCommons Melbourne Chapter Speaker for September on the global theme of DEPTH is an award-winning artist Dr Sarah Jane Pell. As an experienced Occupational Diver, aquatic performer and versatile art and science collaborator [#bendinghorizons], her talk follows the arc of a dive and describes strategies for working at depth, lessons learned for performing with positive pressure, exploring limits, rapture, calculating bottom times, safety stops and ascent lines, surfacing and sharing in the responsibilities of the blue economy and deep ecology that nourishes us.

Headquartered in New York City, CreativeMornings attendees gather in cities worldwide and online via Virtual FieldTrips to enjoy creative connections, inspiring community, and plentiful opportunities. Volunteer hosts and their teams organize local chapters that celebrate a city’s creative talent and promote an open space to connect with like-minded individuals.
