This session focued on the importance of anti-racism pedagogy in making sense of our world with perspectives from the US and Australia. Our speakers discussed the importance of anti-racist pedagogies in their work. We were joined by Victoria Robinson, Director American Cultures Centre and lecturer of Comparative Ethnic Studies at UC Berkeley and Emma Gavin, a Garrwa Aboriginal woman and a Lecturer of Indigenous Studies within the Department of Social Sciences at Swinburne University of Technology.
