Description

This invited presentation was delivered to a multidisciplinary international committee comprising engineers, biomechanists, behavioural scientists, child restraint system (CRS) manufacturers, paediatricians, and road safety regulators. The committee plays a strategic advisory role in setting the global research and policy agenda for child occupant protection. Being invited reflects the critical contribution of behavioural science in complementing engineering and medical perspectives to improve child safety in vehicles (~18 committee members).
