Organiser, panellist and speaker of a community forum on co-design.

Members of the brain impairment community including people with lived experience, family, carers, therapists, funders and other stakeholders were invited to take part in discussions about the past, present and future of research co-design. People with lived experience and their research partners presented on the successes and challenges of their joint projects in brain impairment. The current practice for inclusion, collaboration and eventually leadership by people with lived experience in the conception, design and running of research were explored. To build the bridge to future co-design, participants discussed ideas to connect stakeholders with researchers.

Kate Gould and Colin Brokenshire presented on their co-design partnership as part of the Cyberability project
