Description

Panelist for The Malaysia-China Chamber of Commerce (MCCC) webinar

The Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) agreement has come into force for Malaysia on 18 March 2022, paving the way for the country to integrate into the world’s largest free trade agreement (FTA) that involves 15 countries, with a total population of more than 2.2 billion.

The RCEP represents a significant milestone in the vibrant growth and revitalization of economies. It would be important for SMEs to explore opportunities and challenges from the comprehensive multilateral trade system, Free Trade Agreement(FTA). With proper understanding and take advantages of RCEP Agreement and trade effects, business owners/entrepreneurs can be better prepared and embracing ESG into their business, to further integrate into the global supply chain and achieve sustainable growth.

MCCC will be hosting a RCEP WEBINAR entitled “TAPPING THE RCEP OPPORTUNIES”, an online discussion panel looking at how the key regional free partnership trade agreements, namely RCEP, could play a significant role in ASEAN’s post-pandemic recovery through the opening up of domestic and regional markets for further trade and investment integration.
