Design for Impact

Activity: Community Talks, Presentations, Exhibitions and EventsPublic lecture/debate/seminar

Description

Description
As ‘impact’ becomes an increasingly important measure in the value proposition of academic research, leading design researchers from Monash University and Queensland University of Technology will come together to define and debate what this means to our field and those that we regularly engage with. Can impact be measured? If so, how? How long does it take to see impact and at what scale do we begin to define that impact has even been achieved? These and other prompts will be covered in this discussion.
