CEDA and Microsoft imagine a 2050 where Australia has harnessed science and technology (SxT) to improve environmental sustainability and wellbeing. A four-part roundtable series designed to drive a better future.

Imagine it’s 2050, and Australia is widely recognised for its world leading research and innovation, the sophistication and diversity of its businesses and exports, and its ability to use science and technology (SxT) to improve environmental sustainability and wellbeing.

    How do we get there?

Join CEDA and Microsoft in a series of two-hour roundtable discussions with some of our most influential Australians from business, academia, government and community sectors, we will chart the current Australian innovation mindset and provoke thinking on how to drive a better future state.

This session takes a closer look at science and technology as critical to enablers to Australia’s future prosperity. Against the backdrop of poor performance relative to leading innovation nations, how important is it to lift our game in basic research? How should we make the most of these opportunities?
