This invited presentation was delivered to the International Future Agenda for Child Occupant Protection Committee—a multidisciplinary group comprising biomechanists, CRS manufacturers, engineers, epidemiologists, human factors scientists, paediatricians, safety researchers, and vehicle manufacturers. The session focused on identifying research gaps and setting international priorities for protecting children and adolescents in future transport environments, with particular emphasis on behavioural adaptation and regulatory challenges. (~16 committee members)
