    Dr. Xin Gu has made a submission to the Australia Council for the Arts for the development of a new national cultural policy. Gu's submission titled 'Making Diversity of Cultural Expression the Cultural Goal for the new Australian Cultural Policy' was based on her research and teaching on cultural policy especially those concerning the developing countries' cultural policy context. In her submission, Gu proposed new interventions to bring diverse communities into policy making to widen scope of the new cultural policy.
