The abstract of the paper is as follows: This research explores and evaluates the effectiveness of using GPT-4, a generative AI tool, in drafting hypothetical legal problem scenario for the interim assessment of LAW2101 (Contract A) in semester 1, 2025 at the Faculty of Law, Monash University. In the context of an increasing integration of generative AI into educational practices, this study aims to assess the strengths and weaknesses of AI generated hypotheticals for assessing learning of the students in the Contract law unit at Monash.
