    Malaysian Delegation, Visit to MonashTuesday 29 October 2019. Presentation and workshop: Art—Community—Environment (ACE): Our Waste—Our Place—Our Actions How can 21st Century art education shift with real-world challenges? This arts-based presentation showcases a unit entitled Art, Community, and Environment—undertaken by Pre-service, Early Childhood and Primary teachers at Monash University, in Melbourne and Singapore. Through a Show-&-Tell format, we will explore how we embedded a local place-making project into the unit to bring children, seniors and preservice teachers together to question and explore the creative potential of waste. Then, through the making of ‘good life amulets’, we will explore how everyday waste, wildlife, sea and land habitats come together as an environmental prompt in our region and whether our creative actions might
