ABRCMS, one of the largest, professional conferences for underrepresented groups, encourages students to pursue advanced training in STEM. Community college students, sophomores, juniors, seniors, post-baccalaureates, and master’s students that conducted research projects in the STEM fields were invited to submit abstracts for ABRCMS 2019. This is a wonderful opportunity for students to gain experience in the abstract submission process and improve their writing skills. In 2019, there were a record 2,785 abstract submissions. Typically 5% of abstract submissions are rejected.
