Invited to deliver a presentation as part of the ‘international’ component of the Congress to describe a global collaboration examining the impact of medical conditions on driving risk, and how findings are informing updates to the Australian Fitness to Drive Guidelines. This presentation showcased the international reach of Australian-led research and its influence on global road safety discussions. It positioned the outcomes of the collaboration as critical evidence for advancing traffic medicine practices, with direct application in revising national guidelines to improve public health and mobility outcomes.
