Description

Diagnostic taxonomies and tools for diagnosing adults with dyslexia are inadequate. Consequently, psychologists use ad lib decision-making and "gut feelings" to decide if a diagnosis is appropriate. The development of specific adult-focused dyslexia assessment guidelines will help ensure adults with dyslexia do not go undiagnosed and thus unsupported.
